New readings, etc.
February 6, 2007 by info.
I’m still in the process of getting this website running right and need to update several sections; stay posted. In the meantime, please know that I will be reading in Providence, at the Sarah Doyle Women’s Center, March 2 and at BookWoman in Austin March 18 at 2:30 p.m. (yes, during South by Southwest).
Also check out the current Interview for a nice writeup of Mamarama.

Poll: Angel versus asshole?
February 6, 2007 by info.
The other day a friend called me giddy: She had had her son’s intelligence tested and he scored genius high. “We won the jackpot!” she said. By the end of the day, of course, she was back to cursing her boy wonder’s usual stubbornness. Which led me to a philosophical question: Would you rather your child be a brilliant asshole or a stupid angel?
